Cheers to International G&T Day at these waterfront spots

With International G&T Day on Thursday 19th October, gin-lovers across the city can celebrate the occasion with the refreshing cocktail at a selection of venues along the historic waterfront. From unique flavours to luxury settings, there’s something for everyone.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

Located a step outside of the city centre, those looking for an indulgent gin and tonic in a luxury setting can escape to the Rum Bar at Titanic Hotel Liverpool. With views overlooking Stanley Dock, sip and savour a refreshing glass of Hendrick’s Gin paired with Franklin and Son’s Premium Indian Tonic Water. Also offering a dedicated light bite menu, visitors can opt for a selection of snacks including gourmet sandwiches and sweet treats.

Putting a unique twist on the classic drink, head to Maray’s dockside venue and enjoy a Beetroot G&T with views across the rippling water. Made with beetroot and hibiscus-infused gin, Schweppes Tonic and cucumber, this crisp cocktail is perfectly paired with the Middle Eastern-inspired dishes on its much-loved menu.

Rosa’s Thai

For a taste of the tropics without having to leave Liverpool, Rosa’s Thai at Royal Albert Dock is the place to go. With an array of Thai-inspired cocktails to choose from, visitors celebrating the occasion can opt for Rosa’s Signature G&T. Beefeater Gin is combined with ginger, coriander, lemon and tonic water before being served over ice and garnished with Thai-inspired aromatics.

Boasting one of the best gin collections outside of Spain, along with their own gin that is distilled right here in Liverpool, Lunyalita is a must-visit on International Gin and Tonic Day. From Port Vell Gin with citrus and cardamom to Lunya Gin with orange blossom, nora pepper and blanched almonds, each one is served in true Spanish style with its own bespoke garnish over lots of ice.

Miller and Carter

Creating a stunning selection of signature drinks, Miller and Carter offer a variety of crafted gin twists that are handpicked by their finest mixologists. Whether you’re pairing the drink with a succulent steak or gourmet burger, with four distinct flavour profiles to choose from, there’s something for every palate. Pick from the light and citrusy Tanqueray Zest, floral and modern Monkey Tail, savoury and herbal Gin Fresco, and the fruitful and sweet Soley Does It.
