“Our city is known for its vibrant festival spirit and on Saturday 21st October St George’s Hall is hosting a spectacular Black History Month Day Festival.
The festival is completely free for all attendees!
You’ll enjoy a day filled with performances by local artists, highlighting some of Liverpool’s brightest musical and creative talents. From Neo-Jazz to introspective R&B, poetry, art and rap. All performing artists are Liverpool based and delve into themes of growing up in Liverpool, identity and belonging.
But it’s not just entertainment, St George’s Hall are hosting a market run by L8 Business Collective; Sisterhood Soiree, celebrating black women in business and we have curated a selection of vendors chosen by Liverpool’s beloved food critic, Jerome of Scouse Ghetto Gourmet!
Don’t miss out on this extraordinary day filled with culture, creativity and community and be a part of readdressing your history.”
